A cynical Woman keeps dying only to be returned to the same evening of her Birthday party. She begins to question her own sanity as she tries to figure a way out of this strange time loop!

One thing I want to mention first is how incredibly great the entire cast is! That is just one piece, out of many, that make this series so good. It’s your typical “Ground Hogs Day” story but it’s done in such a way that it keeps you in wonder the whole time. Wonderfully directed by a handful of female directors that make each and every episode engaging, not having any filler episodes like most shows do. Brilliantly scripted with great dialogue that makes the lead of the show Natasha Lyonne (Nadia) so damn snarky yet so freaken adorable!

Move over Lucy, we have a new favorite Red-Head! Natasha Lyonne is simply incredible and the star of this show. Not enough can be said about her performance in Russian Doll. The show has comedy, drama, and even a very small dose of a horror element to which Lyonne crushes with ease. It’s not often I’m inspired to review a tv show, in this case a Netflix Original Show, but Russian Doll had me hooked from beginning to end. It’s a binger for sure and I for one enjoyed being stuck in the time loop with Nadia every step of the way.

Score: 9/10
